Contributions are not tax-deductible for federal or state income tax purposes. Individuals may contribute up to the maximum limit allowed by Tennessee campaign finance law. Corporate contributions, as well as contributions from foreign nationals, are strictly prohibited. The campaign is required to use its best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $100 per election cycle.
