Meet Dr. Jason Morrison

Dr. Jason Morrison is a dad, neighbor, and problem-solver who believes every child in Collierville deserves a strong, well-run public school. As a parent with two children in the Collierville Schools system and a leader in healthcare and research, he understands both what families need and how to navigate complex systems to get results.

Dr. Morrison is running for School Board to bring steady, thoughtful leadership that keeps the focus where it belongs—on students, teachers, and the long-term health of our schools.

Rooted in Collierville, Focused on Families

Dr. Morrison and his wife, Michelle, are proud to call Collierville home. Their two children, Maddox (15) and Marlowe (10), attend schools in the Collierville Schools district. Like so many parents here, they want classrooms where students are challenged, supported, and known by name.

As a dad, Dr. Morrison sees the strengths in our schools and also the pressures families, teachers, and students are feeling. His perspective is simple: decisions made in the boardroom should make life better in the classroom and at the kitchen table.

Professional Experience You Can Trust

Dr. Morrison serves as the Vice President of Clinical Research Informatics at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In this role, he helps lead teams that support lifesaving research and care for children and families facing some of the toughest moments of their lives.

His work requires him to bring people together across disciplines, manage complex systems, and make data-informed decisions that always keep children at the center. Those same skills—collaboration, clear communication, and calm decision-making—are exactly what he will bring to the school board.

“Dr. Morrison is not running to score political points. He’s running to serve families, support educators, and strengthen Collierville’s public schools for years to come.”
